Two shootings at a school and a home left at least nine people dead and dozens others wounded in northeastern British Columbia on Tuesday, Feb. 10, in what a Canadian official described as one of the worst mass shootings in Canada’s history.
Officials provided an update on the Tumbler Ridge school shooting at a press conference hours after the incident in the small, northeastern BC town near the Alberta border. They noted the suspect in the mass shooting died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
