Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey briefs press after an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent shot and killed a woman during an operation in Minneapolis on Wednesday, the Department of Homeland Security said.
The woman was allegedly "attempting to run over our law enforcement officers" when an ICE officer fatally shot her, according to DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin.
Frey responded to the press saying, "the narrative of this shooting being done in self-defense is garbage."
