Interim NDP Leader Don Davies says while the party was unsuccessful in negotiating changes to the Liberal’s fall budget, the party’s seven MPs did not all vote against the bill that would have possibly triggered a winter election.

Mark Carney’s first budget passed Monday night by a vote of 170-168.
