Many small businesses have become accustomed to shoplifting as a cost of doing business. However, a store owner in Langley, B.C. was shocked when she reviewed her security video after losing thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise.
“It was so organized, I’ve never seen anything like this in four years of owning this business," said Georgina Williams from Nova and Co. Consignment.
The surveillance footage captured a 16-minute heist. While the adult suspects placed products on the front counter, the children, who appeared to be playing, were seen hiding items in their pockets and hands.
