Nobel Peace Prize laureate Maria Corina Machado said she was currently on her way to Oslo, where a ceremony took place honoring her for the award despite her being unable to attend.

An audio recording of Machado was released by the Norwegian Nobel Institute shortly before the ceremony. It was unclear where she was calling from.
