From DW News.
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says he’s skeptical about the latest round of talks between Russia and the United States aimed at ending the war in his country.
Zelenskyy said that Washington had brought up the prospect of three-way talks, which would mark the first face-to-face meetings between Ukraine and Russia in six months. But Russia, whose envoy is in Miami to meet US negotiators, denied such talks were in the cards.
One of the key sticking points to finalizing a peace deal is Moscow’s demand that Kyiv give up territory. That’s something most Ukrainian soldiers are unwilling to budge on.
