Huge crowds gathered at Tel Aviv’s Hostage Square on Saturday for what many Israelis hope will be the final rally for the hostages’ return. US Mideast envoy Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, and Ivanka Trump addressed the rally. During Witkoff’s remarks, the crowd applauded Trump’s efforts to reach a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Witkoff’s mention of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, however, drew large boos from those in attendance. In response, Witkoff stated: "I was in the trenches with the Prime Minister. Believe me, he was a very important part here."
