As the United States braces for the monster snow storm barreling across the nation, many are panic-buying essentials. Experts say the smart thing to do is only buy enough food and water for 72 hours. They advise against buying too many perishables, and say stock up on canned and packaged food, and to test flashlights and radios before the storm hits. The storm could stretch 2,000 miles and impact 200 million people. Twenty-two states have declared a state of emergency.
