A report in the Financial Times suggests U.S. President Donald Trump is considering scaling back some tariffs on steel and aluminum products.

It would be a rare concession from Trump, who has made tariffs his signature economic policy.

As Touria Izri reports, there’s growing evidence the tariffs are taking a toll on the American consumer ahead of critical midterm elections in November.
