Ukrainian soldier returns to the front after more than two years of torture and isolation | DW News

When Mariupol fell in early 2022, thousands of Ukrainian soldiers were taken prisoner. One of them was Rasti — a young fighter from the Azov Brigade who endured two and half years of torture and isolation in Russian captivity. Soon after his release, he rejoined his brigade and is now back at the frontline.
