Discussions between the Trump administration and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy continued in Berlin Monday, after the U.S. side said a "lot of progress" had been made on ending Russia’s war in Ukraine.
In her first public speech as chief of the U.K.’s Secret Intelligence Service (SIS), however, has cast her doubts that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants the same.
“Russia is testing us in the gray zone with tactics that are just below the threshold of war. It’s important to understand their attempts to bully, fearmonger and manipulate because it affects us all,” she added, warning of continuous, “aggressive” threats coming out of Moscow.
Among those threats, the MI6 head noted cyber attacks on critical infrastructure, airspace violations with drones, propaganda and influence operations, as well as “aggressive activity” in the ocean.
