At least seven explosions and low-flying aircraft were heard around 2 a.m. local time on Saturday in Venezuela’s capital, Caracas, during a U.S. military operation. Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, taken overnight from their home on a military base, are aboard a U.S. warship on their way to New York, where they are to face criminal charges.
