In this math video I (Susanne) explain how to solve a beautiful geometry puzzle: three equal circles touch each other, and we want the length of the rope wrapped around them. By constructing an equilateral triangle between the centers, using angles, and breaking the shape into simple rectangles and arcs, we discover an elegant shortcut to the total rope length. Mathematics explained.
