The federal government’s push to build a pipeline from Alberta to Canada’s west coast has been met with contention.

But new polling from Ipsos shows a majority of Canadians who were surveyed are on board.

It’s “the most favourable public opinion environment I can remember when it comes to building infrastructure around oil and gas,” says Ipsos CEO Darrell Bricker.
