The Supreme Court appears open to limiting a key section of the Voting Rights Act, a move Politico reports could hand Republicans up to 19 more House seats through redistricting. Janai Nelson, president and director-counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, argued today in front of the Court. She is joined by Rick Hasen, professor of law and political science at UCLA Law School, to explain what’s at stake.
