Voters in Alberta are set to choose new municipal governments Monday in what’s been dubbed a “meh” election because voter turnout appears to be very low.
Voting at advanced polls was down more than 30 per cent in both Calgary and Edmonton compared to the last election cycle.
As Heather Yourex-West explains, that is despite mayoral races in both cities that are expected to be close calls.
