A closer look at the White House East Wing demolition

From PBS NewsHour.

Construction has begun on the $250 million ballroom that President Donald Trump has sought to add to the White House grounds for years. Yet, the construction project is more involved than was previously disclosed.
A White House official confirmed to PBS News’ Liz Landers “that the entirety of the East Wing is undergoing modernization and renovation in order to support the overall ballroom project.” The statement comes despite past comments from the president that the project “won’t interfere with the current building. It’ll be near it but not touching it.” Liz Landers has more from the White House.
