US President Donald Trump confirms that the White House’s iconic East Wing is being demolished to make way for a huge $250-million ballroom. Trump tells reporters at an Oval Office event alongside NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte that he has decided after consulting architects that "really knocking it down" was preferable to a partial demolition.
