From Global News.
A disappointing result to Game 2 of the World Series Saturday as Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched his second consecutive complete game – the first in the World Series since 2015 – leading the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 5-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Dodgers tied the best-of-seven matchup game at one game apiece, and home-field advantage has now swung to the defending champions.
The Blue Jays, who won the opener 11-4, will need to win at least once over the next three road games to secure a return to Rogers Centre for a potential Game 6 on Friday.
Scott Stinson, Global News Sports Contributor, joins Global’s Nivrita Gaguly to discuss the Los Angeles’ Game 2 victory and what lies ahead as the World Series action shifts south of the border.
