From Global News.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney arrived in Singapore Tuesday on the second leg of his trip to Asia, where he made a stop at the Port of Singapore and met with business leaders in the island nation.
Carney’s trip to Asia comes as the prime minister is dealing with the fallout of an anti-tariff ad from the Ontario government that has sparked the ire of U.S. President Donald Trump.
Ontario’s Premier Doug Ford has said Carney knew about the ad before it aired in the U.S., a charge to which Carney’s office has only said “no comment.”
Mackenzie Gray has the latest on the prime minister’s tour of Asia and the trade troubles with the U.S.
