The relationship between President Donald Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has come into the spotlight again after House Democrats released emails in which Epstein claims Trump "knew about the girls." In a statement to NBC News, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt accused Democrats of "selectively leaked emails to the liberal media to create a fake narrative to smear President Trump."
