“Cheap political stunt”: Liberals vote against Poilievre’s pipeline motion

The federal Liberals have voted against Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre’s non-binding motion that he says will prove whether Prime Minister Mark Carney is serious about building an Alberta-B.C. pipeline.
The motion used partial language from the memorandum of understanding signed between Ottawa and Alberta last month that sets the stage for a bitumen pipeline to increase oil exports to Asia.
