“Take a breath”: Saskatchewan premier urges calm over Trump’s potash tariff threat

Saskatchewan’s economy would be devastated if U.S. President Donald Trump followed through on his threat to tariff Canadian potash.

Saskatchewan produces virtually all of Canada’s potash, contributing to nearly a third of the global supply.

As Heather Yourex-West reports, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe is hopeful his province’s potash sector will escape unscathed.
