Pope Leo XIV thanks the crowd gathered in St Peter’s Square at the Vatican for braving the rain, before celebrating his first Christmas Eve Mass inside St Peter’s Basilica. "I admire and respect, and thank you for your courage and you wanting to be here this evening," the pontiff says as rain falls over the square.
