Police in Barrie, Ont. are investigating the death of a 10-year-old boy.
Officers went to a home to perform a wellness check, where they found the boy’s body.
The child’s mother was also found inside and has been taken to hospital. Neighbours told reporters there were no obvious signs of trouble leading up to the discovery.
