Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, landed in the United States on Saturday, Jan. 3, as the sun set on a day that began with a dramatic raid on the couple’s Caracas home by U.S. special forces and ended with their transportation over sea and air to New York.
