Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he has appointed former Liberal cabinet minister Chrystia Freeland as an economic development adviser, citing her experience in attracting investment. In September, Prime Minister Mark Carney asked Freeland to serve as Canada’s new special representative for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
