House Democrats hold a special hearing on the five-year anniversary of the January 6th insurrection at the Capitol. Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries says the hearing will focus on President Trump’s “blanket pardons and commutations to the nearly 1,600 individuals charged in connection with the January 6th attack” and spotlight what he calls the GOP’s attempt “to rewrite history and whitewash the events of Jan. 6.”
