Shooting in Portland involving federal agents: News interrupts city meeting after MN ICE shooting

Two people in Oregon were injured in a shooting involving federal agents on Jan. 8, according to City Council President Elana Pirtle-Guiney. The event follows a shooting involving an Immigration and Customs enforcement officer in Minneapolis that resulted in a woman, Renee Nicole Good being shot and killed. The ICE agent, identified in court documents as Jonathan Ross, has at least 10 years of experience as an ICE officer and served on the agency’s Special Response Team.
