Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Friday that Russia’s hypersonic Oreshnik missile strike late on Thursday was "demonstratively" close to Ukraine’s border with the European Union.
 
Ukraine’s domestic security service said on Friday it was treating Russia’s overnight strike with an Oreshnik missile on the western Lviv region as a "war crime."
 
Meanwhile Russian drones attacked targets in Kyiv early on Friday, killing four people, injuring at least 19 and inflicting considerable damage on dwellings and infrastructure, Ukrainian officials said.
 
"This is intimidation, terror," said Ihor, a 20-year-old student.
