Twenty-nine people were arrested overnight as police responded to protests against federal immigration enforcement in Minneapolis, Mayor Jacob Frey said at a press conference on Saturday.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said one police officer was injured during the protest response.

"This is what Donald Trump wants. He wants us to take the bait. He wants those agitators to get a hold of this crowd in a way that it makes them cause harm to others and or damage to property,” Frey said.
