But communities are also resisting in other ways: “Know Your Rights” trainings, whistling and blowing car horns to alert neighbors of ICE’s presence, or simply filming and observing ICE encounters – actions which are all constitutionally protected. MN State Representative Aisha Gomez weighs in, telling Ali Velshi “We are in a critical moment for our country – for our democracy." Adding, "the sound of whistles and horns in my part of town in Minneapolis has become a siren sound.”
