‘We had whistles. They had guns’: Protests grow after MN ICE shooting

From MSNBC.

Tens of thousands of people took to the streets in protest after the shooting death of Minneapolis mother Renee Good by an ICE officer. But communities are also resisting in other ways: “Know Your Rights” trainings, whistling and blowing car horns to alert neighbors of ICE’s presence, or simply filming and observing ICE encounters – actions which are all constitutionally protected. MN State Representative Aisha Gomez weighs in, telling Ali Velshi “We are in a critical moment for our country – for our democracy." Adding, "the sound of whistles and horns in my part of town in Minneapolis has become a siren sound.”
