Brain cancer patient dead after fight with hospital security

From CBC News.

Trevor Dubois, 36, died last week after a ‘physical altercation’ with security at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. Police said investigators have determined that hospital security entered a patient’s room after it was reported that a firearm was seen inside.

His family is calling for answers about what happened in the patient room leading up to the altercation, and say they believe his death was preventable. His older brother, Ryan Dubois, described him as kind and without a ‘malicious bone in his body.’
