Students scuffled with police and private security at a university campus in southeast Turkey as they protested in support of Syrian Kurds. Protesters chanted pro-Kurdish slogans, voicing support for the Kurdish population in Syria’s north, also known as Rojava, days after the Syrian army’s operation in Aleppo against the Syrian Democratic Forces, which is spearheaded by the Syrian-Kurdish YPG militia.
