Juliana Peres Magalhães, a defendant in a double murder trial in Fairfax, Virginia, testified Tuesday that Brendan Banfield, with whom she was having an affair while working as the family’s au pair, used an elaborate scheme to lure an unsuspecting man to the house as part of a plan to kill his wife.
