Federal prosecutors have charged 20 NCAA players and 6 others accused of rigging college basketball games as part of a massive criminal conspiracy. Prosecutors say the scheme began in the Chinese Basketball Association. They say two Americans placed large bets on teams to lose then bribed a player to underperform. Officials say they then moved their operations stateside, recruiting players who were offered $30,000 per game.
