Applause rings out after Paraguay’s Foreign Minister Ruben Ramirez Lezcano signs the final document of a major trade deal between the European Union and Mercosur countries in Asuncion, Paraguay. The agreement had been under negotiation since 1999 between the EU and the founding countries of Mercosur (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay).
