It’s a heartbreaking case that’s ended up in the British Columbia Supreme Court, but those working on it expect to continue to Canada’s highest court.

The case in question started with the story of Sam O’Neill – a 34-year-old terminal cancer patient who didn’t want to end up passing away as she did.

Now, her mother and a team of supporters are in court, hoping others don’t end up with the same fate.
