European countries hit back against Trump’s new tariffs over Greenland

After President Trump announced tariffs on eight European nations linked to Greenland, the countries are doubling down on supporting the sovereignty of the self-governing Danish territory.
The tariff threats come ahead of Davos 2026, the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) held in Davos, Switzerland.
