European Union chief Ursula von der Leyen has said Europe must learn to stand alone and continue down a path of independence. She made the remarks at a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, at a time when relations between the United States and Europe are at an all time low over President Trump’s claim over the Danish territory of Greenland.
