Former Special Counsel Jack Smith is set to testify publicly before the House Judiciary Committee on Jan. 22, 2026, about his investigations into President Trump.
In a closed-door deposition last month, Smith said Trump “willfully retained” highly classified documents and repeatedly tried to “obstruct justice.”
