From TODAY.
President Donald Trump is facing criticism from U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Prince Harry, among others, for comments he made just before leaving Switzerland where he seemed to say that the United States’ allies did not fight on the front lines during the war in Afghanistan. Starmer called the president’s comments “insulting and frankly, appalling” while Prince Harry said, “I served there. I made lifelong friends there. And I lost friends there. Those sacrifices deserve to be spoken about truthfully and with respect.” NBC’s Raf Sanchez reports for Saturday TODAY.
