A polar vortex that’s brought bitterly cold temperatures to much of Canada is now slamming the country’s biggest city with a blizzard. Toronto is under an orange alert Sunday and into Monday, as significant snowfall causes treacherous conditions in the city and surrounding region. Sean O’Shea reports on school closures, flight cancellations and more.

MPs and party leaders are gearing up for the return of Parliament on Monday. From renewed U.S. tariff threats to questions about whether the Liberals and Conservatives will work together on key issues, as Jillian Piper reports, there’s a lot at stake in the coming months.
