Thousands marked Australia’s national day on January 26 by attending an ‘Invasion Day’ demonstration through the streets of Sydney in support of the country’s Indigenous community. In a citizenship ceremony in Canberra, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called the country one of the world’s ‘strongest’ and ‘oldest’ democracies.
