For more than two years, Israelis pinned yellow ribbons to their lapels and gathered to remember the hostages abducted during the deadliest day in the country’s history. But in a sign marking the end of a painful chapter, they removed their ribbons and turned off a clock Tuesday in Tel Aviv’s Hostages Square tracking the duration of the hostages’ captivity.
