British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is in China to reset relations – as he aims to boost trade and investment with the world’s second-largest economy.

Starmer has vowed to bring back benefits to the UK in meetings with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang. It’s the first visit by a British prime minister there in eight years. Starmer is the latest western leader to seek closer trade with China – as many pivot away from the US.
