Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky says the next stage of peace talks with Russia and the US this weekend could be delayed, adding that tension between America and Iran could cause them to be postponed.

It comes as US President Donald Trump says that Russia has agreed to hold off with attacks on Ukraine’s capital Kyiv during an "extraordinary" cold spell.

Zelensky says he has welcomed the decision, but Russia and Vladimir Putin have not confirmed such an agreement.
