A rookie New York Police Department (NYPD) officer has now saved two young children from choking. First, Officer Freddy Cerpa saved his neighbour’s one-year-old daughter while he was off-duty in December. Then, less than six weeks later, Cerpa saved a two-year-old boy’s life in the Bronx.
