Members of the Conservative Party of Canada voted overwhelmingly to keep Pierre Poilievre on as their leader Friday, during the party’s annual convention in Calgary.

Poilievre addressed members Friday ahead of the vote, offering his vision on how to win the support of Canadians in the next election — and took aim at the Liberal Party, accusing it of stoking separatist sentiment.

The Conservative leader sympathized with separatist frustrations but said his party would address those concerns.
