Rivers overflow and residents are evacuated in villages near Granada, southern Spain, after days of heavy rains brought on by storm Leonardo. The storm saw more than 40 centimetres of rain in some Andalusian districts on Wednesday, the equivalent of several months of precipitation. The highest weather alert for torrential rain in Andalusia has now been lifted.
